Is Needed!
Our Youth
are our hope for the future. Your support can make the difference in the
lives of youth who are in desperate need of help. There are many ways
to help.
Become a Volunteer:
Volunteers provide individualized attention to boost children's self esteem
and brighten their lives. Our Volunteer Program is a community of people
who share a common interest - a commitment to the protection of children.
Send a Monetary
Contribution:
Join with other individuals, families, and other organizations/businesses throughout
our community by making a gift of cash or appreciated stock. We will apply
your gift to the area of our children's greatest needs.
Make a Planned
Gift:
Consult your financial advisor or trust officer about making a
living legacy
gift through your will or estate plan that can help us in our continual growth
to
help abused,
abandoned, neglected, and homeless children in our community.
Make a Gift in
Honor or Memory:
Consider making a gift to The Children's Shelter in memory of a loved one, in
honor of a new baby, for holiday gifts, or other celebrations. A contribution
to the Children's Aid Society in lieu of flowers is a living memorial through
the life of a child who has been helped. We will send a card to the honoree
indicating that the gift was made in the person's honor or memory.
Host a Special
Event:
By naming
The Children's Aid Society as the beneficiary of your organization's next spec
ial
event, you will provide a much needed source of support for our children.
Sponsor a Donation
Drive:
Your
company, youth group, club, or civic group can coordinate a donation drive to
collect needed items listed in our children's
WISH LIST. We can help you with
the selection of items meeting your group's interest.
Make an In-Kind Donation:
Your donation of needed items on our WISH LIST,
such as children's clothing, shoes, diapers, books, etc., will be used to provide
comfort and relief for our children.
The Children's
Aid Society is a 501 (c) 3 private, non-profit community agency. Our Federal
Tax ID number is 75-0851203. Donations made to Children's Aid Society
are considered to be tax deductible on your itemized tax return. Itemized
receipts are issued for every donation. It is the responsibility of the
contributing party to determine and claim the fair market value of "in-kind"
donations. All donations make to Children's Aid Society are stipulated
to have been made without provision of goods or services in consideration, in
whole or part, for the contribution.
